How Our Custom Ceramic Process Works
Our approach combines traditional craftsmanship with a structured, professional design process — ideal for private clients, interior designers, and hospitality projects.
1. Contact & Inspiration
You tell us what you envision. The more details you provide, the faster and more precisely the project takes shape.
You may share:

- Hand sketches
- Color palettes
- Exact dimensions

This initial phase allows us to understand both the aesthetic and functional goals of your custom ceramic project.
2. Study & Proposal
We analyze your request directly — no intermediaries.
You will receive:
- Initial design concepts
- Sketches (if required)
- Examples of related works
- Technical advice on materials, glazes, durability, and intended use
- A personalized quote
This phase ensures that your bespoke ceramic design aligns perfectly with your space and expectations
3. Production – Handmade in Italy
Once the design is approved, production begins in our Ravello workshop.
Every step follows the natural rhythm of traditional ceramic craftsmanship:
- Hand shaping
- Natural drying
- First kiln firing
- Freehand decoration
- Glazing
- Second kiln firing
There are no shortcuts. Authentic handmade ceramics from Italy require time, precision, and patience.
4. Delivery & Worldwide Shipping
We ship throughout Italy and internationally using custom protective packaging designed for fragile, high-value pieces.
Studio pickup in Ravello is also available by appointment.
Lead Times – Understanding Production Timelines
Production timelines depend on three main factors:
- Type of piece (plate, table, decorative panel, tile, art object)
- Complexity of decoration
- Current workshop workload
Estimated production times:
- Small to medium pieces: 4–6 weeks
- Custom dinnerware sets: 6–10 weeks
- Ceramic tables and decorative panels: 8–12 weeks
- Complex hotel and restaurant projects: 12–20 weeks
During peak seasons (spring and summer on the Amalfi Coast), lead times may extend.
We believe in transparency: true handmade ceramics require natural drying, double firing, careful finishing, and artisan expertise.
